Principal Bio

I am the youngest of six siblings. I come from a supportive family and I enjoy spending time with my one niece and soon-to-be six nephews.

My love for education began before I entered school. I always wanted to read, learn, and know more. To say that I love the teaching and learning process is an understatement.  I taught for several years before I became a principal.

I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina in 2010 where I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Middle-Level Education with an emphasis in math and English. I furthered my educational career by attending Concordia University in Portland, Oregon where I earned a Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Reading in 2013. My educational journey continued at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. I earned an Educational Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in 2016.  I received my principal certification while working on my doctoral degree. In May 2019, I earned a doctorate in Educational Leadership from Liberty University. I completed all required coursework as well as a dissertation as part of the requirements for the doctoral degree program.

It is my pleasure to serve as the principal of West Lee Elementary School. Our students are the heart of the school and we strive to provide them with a quality education.
