West Lee Elementary School Black History Month Program will be held on February 27,2024 at 1:00 pm in the WW. Brooks Cafeteria.

Come join us on Tuesday, January 30,2024 at 7:30 am in the WW Brooks Cafeteria for Muffins for Mom. Hope to see you there!

Due to severe weather conditions that may include thunderstorms, high wind gusts, heavy rainfall, and hail are expected on Friday, January 12, 2024. Due to the impending weather conditions, all schools will dismiss early on Friday, January 12, 2024. Elementary schools will dismiss at 11:30 a.m.

Thank you for your valuable input. We will continue to work diligently to ensure that Lee County School District provides the best educational experiences for all of our students.

We will be operating on a two-hour delay on Wednesday January 10,2024.

Due to the probability of high winds and strong wind gusts in excess of 45 mph resulting from the Winter Storm FINN all
schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. This day will be designated as an eLearning day for
students and staff members in the district. Moreover, all afterschool programs, fieldtrips and extracurricular activities
we will be canceled as well.
Because we are an eLearning district, this day will not have to be made up. Lessons and assignments will be posted in
each teacher’s virtual classroom. Students will be required to complete all eLearning assignments later if they aren’t able
to participate due to power outages, lack of internet service, or other barriers.
