Mrs. Golding's 2nd Grade Under the Sea
Hello Starfish! Welcome to Second Grade. My name is Mrs. Golding and I am anxious to get this school year started. It will be an exciting year of learning and growing together. I am from the beautiful island of Jamaica where I spent sixteen years teaching at different grades. A lot of my spare time is spent watching HGTV and documentaries.
This will be my third year teaching at West Lee Elementary, but I have been teaching for twenty-three years. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. You will find that in our class, excellence is doing ordinary things extraordinarily. Our class this year will have an "Under the Sea" theme to inspire a scientific interest in my students as well as key skills such as critical thinking, research and problem-solving.
