My name is Patricia Deacon. I a trained graduate teacher from Jamaica. In Jamaica, I taught for thirty years prior to migrating to the United States. As an educator, I  am passionate about students' learning and as such I am committed to ensuring academic excellence for all students. I endorse the philosophy that says "Every child can learn, Every child must learn. As an inspirational teacher, I was privileged to have taught both at the elementary and secondary levels in the education system. My love and appreciation for kids have no boundaries. They are for me" my purpose and not an interruption." This school year for me promises to be a very exciting one as I engage your children in the teaching and learning experiences. I can assure you that while our kids will be in learning the standards designated in the curriculum for their academic achievements, their social, physical and emotional needs will also be catered to.
