It seems surreal that another school year has started. Oh, how time goes by so quickly! It is indeed my pleasure to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year. I am delighted to announce that I will be your child's 3rd Grade teacher. I am Mrs. Daina Foote-Bartley and I have been an educator for the past 18 years. This will be my fifth year at West Lee and my third year as a 3rd-grade teacher.

Welcome !

I am pleased to welcome you to the 2020-2021 school year. It is kind of different from what we know, but I know that students will have meaningful fun as they learn virtually. Students will be actively engaged as they work towards success. They will be valued, as well as play an integral part in the learning process.

I am Mrs. Daina Foote-Bartley and I have been a teacher for the past fourteen years. Most of my teaching experiencing has been in my home country, Jamaica. I am here at West Lee as a cultural exchange teacher. This is also my second year at West Lee. I look forward to sharing my culture as I teach your children as well as learn from your culture. I am a recent graduate of Walden University where I obtained a Master’s degree in Education specializing in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment.
